Contemporary Russia in the Contemporary World.
The authors whose works are presented at the exhibition «Russia. New Perspective 2011» have succeeded to immortalize the beauty of contemporary Russia in all of its versitality.
Artistic photographers are presenting the world as they see it. Each of them strives to emphasize their own and specific perspective of today’s Russia.
Sport achievements that seem almost impossible, the most striking and significant events in the life of Russia during last year, as well as images from lives of common Russian people – all of these truly represent a new perspective of the contemporary Russia.
Huge land megapolises presented from camera angles that are unusual to the human eye: from high roofs and inaccessible underground areas.
The exhibition presents the works of the following young Russian photographers: Konstantin Kokoshkin, Mikhail Shapaev, Ruslan Suhushin, Vitaliy Raskalov, George Shpikalov, Zinaida Ter-Pogosyan. All of these authors have been award-winners and participants in many international and Russian festivals and photo-competitions.
This project has been organized with the support of the company Gazprom Neft and the Russian Embassy in Serbia.
