The birds views of various sights in Turkey, including the Yassıca Islands, Kekova, the Lake of Küçükçekmece, the Sumela Monastery, the Ataturk Dam, Halfeti, the Meke Lake, Saint Sophia and Mount Ararat, are on exhibit at the Kalemegdan park until the 7th of June.

Alp Alper was born and raised in Ankara, where he joined Turkish Airlines in 1992. This is where he started to develop his passion for the art of photography.

In 1999, after the disastrous earthquake in Turkey, he formed a group and introduced himself to the world as lp Alper, with the work titled “Turkey from 1000 feet”. At the end of 2000, Turkish Airlines moved him to Athens where he continued his project.

Hi displayed exhibitions of “Turkey from 1000 feet” in Athens, Warsaw, Cape Town, Berlin, London, Sao Paulo, Beijing, Duisburg, Toulouse, Aussillon, Paris and New York.
He also began displaying his works in Turkish and Polish National Geographic magazines. He has published three books “Turkey from 1000 feet”, “Dreamscape Turkey” and “4 Seasons Istanbul”.
