“Race for a happier childhood,” organized by the Serbian Red Cross, was held on Sunday, May 8 at Kalemegdan. This year`s income from the race will be donated to the children of Japan.

100 children ran 500-meter long race and 20,000 dinars was raised. Program for children was organized as part of the event. “Race for a happier childhood” is traditional and one of the most widely recognized Red Cross activities.
