Public Enterprise “Belgrade Fortress” and Publishing house “Arhipelag” will organize the promotion of a new book of historiographical essays of Predrag J. Marković – „Lišće i prašina” (Leaves and Dust) (“Arhipelag”, 2012), on Thursday, February 21st, 2013, at 07,00 pm in Nebojsa Tower.

Gojko Božović, a chief editor of the Publishing house “Arhipelag” will be also the speaker.

„Lišće i prašina” (Leaves and Dust) is a book of essays, articles and debates of historian Predrag J. Marković, that has been written over the past fifteen years. This book is a chronicle of the everyday and political life, of the history described at the time of its creation.

Predrag J. Marković (Belgrade, 1965), the historian. He has published several books and studies, among which are: “Beograd i Evropa 1918-1941” (1992); “Beograd između Istoka i Zapada 1948-1965” (1996); “Trajnost i promena. Društvena istorija socijalističke i postsocijalističke svakodnevice u Jugoslaviji i Srbiji” (2007). He lives in Belgrade.
