Belgrade, April 24th 2013 – As part of the series of lectures “The Edict of Milan and Emperor Constantine” held at Nebojša Tower located at the Lower Town of Belgrade Fortress on Tuesday April 23rd 2013, Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno gave a lecture on a subject: “In what we believe – The Dogma of the Holy Trinity”.
Basis of confession in Christian religion were formulated at Ecumenical Councils. Creed that Christians profess was shaped at the Second Ecumenical Council. Many Holy Fathers were engaged in The Dogma of the Holy Trinity. The aforementioned were primarily St. Athanasius the Great, then the Holy Cappadocians: St. Basil, St. Gregory the Theologian, St. Gregory of Nyssa, St. John Chrysostom and later St. John of Damascus, St. Photius and St. Gregory Palamas.
After the lecture attendees were given the opportunity to visit the permanent exhibition at Nebojša Tower.
