1000 Boards Outdoor Simul, organized by Belgrade Chess Federation and City Council, was held at Sunday 1st of June 2014, at Kalemegdan park and Knez Mihailova Street.

Kids from various elementary schools and curious bywalkers lined up with tables awaiting to challenge local Masters and Grandmasters.

This year`s manifestation had a humanitarian character. Under the slogan “Make your move” Chess Federation invited all chess players and amateurs to send an SMS to the number 1003 and help the flooded areas.
